The Sun Run features a chip-timed 5k or a casual 1-mile walk option. Every run/walk registrant will receive our 10th anniversary t-shirt.
At the Sun Run, you’ll have a “10/10” robust participant experience in Runners’ Village including local food and beverage vendors, a family-friendly DJ, face painters, balloon artists and SO MUCH MORE!
Packet Pickup Info
- Packet Pick-Up will be available at the following dates, times & locations:
- Thursday, October 8 from 11:00am-4:00pm at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital – Ground Floor Atrium (this date is only available to SSM Health employees)
- Saturday, October 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Des Peres
- Sunday, October 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in Runner’s Village at Forest Park

- 7:30 am – Day of Registration & Packet Pick-Up opens
- 8:40 am – Opening Remarks, Fundraising Recognitions and Pre-Race Warm-Up
- 8:59 am - Wheelchair division start
- 9 am – 5k begins
- 9:10 am - 1-Mile Walk begins
- Post-Race – Awards Ceremony and Runner’s Village amenities/activities, food and beverage

- $30 for in-person participants Age 13+ (traditional swag pick up)

Benefiting the Devoted Fund, the Sun Run is more than just one day of walking/running. It’s a season during which the entire community is encouraged to come together through fundraising, health and wellness - for children and families of SSM Health Cardinal Glennon. Over the last 70 years, we have proudly served more than 10 million children in need from the bi-state region of Missouri and Illinois and beyond. Our devotion has never been stronger, and the need has never been greater.
With the support of our community, we are shaping a new home for pediatric care — one designed for the future of medicine, comfort, innovation, and compassion. This effort is more than a facility.
